Autism Awareness by thisfleshavenged Autism Awareness by thisfleshavenged
Oh whether to choose the photography category or the painting one. In the end photography wins because there is no conceptual category for paintings...hmmph.

The puzzle pattern reflects the mystery and complexity of autism. The different shapes and colours represents the diversity of people and families living with this disorder. The brightness signals hope.

***Note: I did not create the concept of the puzzle pieces representing autism awareness, i merely captured it. I hope i didn't confuse anyone.***

I've got a nephew with a form of Autism...... he is a good artist himself and I don't get to see if very often.  I'm going to share this photo on my Facebook page because his birthday is in May.

Hi! I'm sorry to ask you this, but I wanted your permission to use your image for a presentation about Autism... it's for school, I promise I'm not getting any profit with it, I just want people to be aware of autism.
Of course I'm gonna credit you!

Hi, I just love your work. I'm a starting psychologist working with autistic people and building my website. Will it be possible to use it in my website? with your name/nickname and link to the site of-course!
Thanks,
Gili

This is wonderful in its simplicity, and you convey the message quite well :)

Would it be acceptable for me to use this in making a logo for my Asperger's-related blog? Of the many representations out there, this one caught my eye,.

You're welcome. 8-)

Have you visited =RetroZombie? He's made several animated autism awareness stamps, which you could (for instance) display in your journal.

Thank you so much. I never really told anyone, but my two of my brothers have severe autism. This is quite true as it does affect everyone around them...
Although they have autism, they are still two wonderful brothers to me.
Ultimate fav for this.

And the darker colours represent those bad days,
It's rare you find an understanding of Autism.

Have you seen the film "Snowcake?"
